Vivekanand Institute for Self Help

VISH - Vivekanand Institute for Self Help was born in October 2003 as a dream child of late Shri Govindjibhai Shroff, a great visionary who strongly believed in the philosophy of Swami Vivekanand that 'Each soul is potentially divine. The goal is to manifest the potential within.

VISH caters to the needs of various groups of people in terms of providing training, development and empowerment. These groups included grassroots level workers, field staff, special groups as well as workers and supervisors from industries. With a humble beginning as District Training Centre (DTC) in the year 2003-2004, it trained less then 1000 people in its first year. Today it can boast of almost six fold achievement over the last four yeas.

VISH today, reaches out to various other groups of people through its multifaceted program. It has in its realm people ranging between 5 to over 50 years of age for whom it is creating not only venues for education and training but also providing life long learning for developing Life Skills required for survival in fast changing modern society affected by liberalization and globalization.
