Our Mission

“To assist village populations in improving their
productivity, efficiency and creativity through services and
goodwill with the support of industries, academic institutions,
voluntary and Government agencies and with the guidance of
competent and committed experts, knowledge inputs and effective
management of available resources, such as land, water, energy,
livestock and people; to upgrade the quality of life of each
villager man, women, child, youth, aged through their involvement,
interest and initiative.”

Introduction
|
The Shroffs Foundation Trust was established in 1980 to provide
interventional development and empowerment programs for poor and
deprived rural communities in Vadodara district. After careful
initial surveys and project identification with detailed plans of
action, the Trust began operations in 1987. The Trust is
registered with the Charity Commissioner under the Societies Act
and is eligible for exemption under 80(G) of the Income Tax Act
and for foreign contributions under FCRA. The Shroffs Foundation
Trust is headquartered at village Kalali on the outskirts of
Vadodara. Its activities cover 164 villages with center-bases in
Ekalbara (Padra block), Rangpur (Chota Udepur block), Kalali (Vadodara
block), and Banni (Kutch block), reaching more than 48,000
families in these blocks.
